Health division of Reuters, a company providing international financial markets and new media with a variety of information, products, transactional solutions, reports that one third of US teens say they feel stressed-out on everyday basis.
Reuters also report that the US teenagers are suspected of feeling such stress as a result of overwhelming expectations by the society and parents.
Two thirds of teens were found to be stressed at least once a week in the study that was conducted at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

- Take some time out for fun
- Set realistic goals
- Take deep breaths and practice deep breathing
- Quit try learning from your mistakes and learn
- Talk to a person you feel comfortable with
- Don’t get dwelled in your weaknesses
- Work out on a daily basis and do muscle tension relaxation exercises
- Make some room for humor in your life; enjoy humorous events and learn to laugh at yourself
- Do some favors to others
- Quit worrying about things that may never happen as well as about the upsetting and shocking things that has happened to you in the past
- Get involved with the activities you love doing
- Many specialists suggest that you can get rid of bottled-up anger and frustration through exercise or some sort of physical activities like punch a pillow or punching bag
- Eat nutritious meal
